• Grabber arm picks up refuse container and antenna reads transponder
• Computer opens customer account and reads weight of empty hopper
• Arm lifts container and dumps it into weigh hopper
• Scale system records weight and sends it to computer while arm is retracting
• Net weight is computed

Residential Collection - Semi-Automated Scales for Side and Rear Tippers (Model LTEF16-WM)

• Scale is mounted to truck body and tipper on the side or rear
• Lift raises container to weigh position and stabilizes
• Weight is recorded and transmitted to indicator in cab
• Load is dumped
• Container returns to weigh position to obtain tare weight and net weight is computed
